We achieve this by delivering –
Right Angle Events has been engaged by a number of Auckland Regional Authorities since June 2007 to perform a series of consultancy projects relating to the future delivery of the 2011 Rugby World Cup (RWC2011).
These projects include –
1. Preparation of Auckland Regional concept paper for ‘Live Site’ events at the RWC2011 (July 2008)
The Live Site concept paper was developed after significant consultation and collaboration with council, community, sporting and event industry groups. The process determined the key goals, challenges and opportunities for the RWC2011 Live Site and ancillary event program, and brought together the visions and ideas of a wide range of organizations into a single, coordinated event program. The paper also investigated the financial and operational viability of a large number of suggested event concepts and structures, and made clear recommendations on the future direction of the RWC2011 event program.
2. Development and delivery of major operational scoping and budgetary exercises for Auckland City and the wider Auckland Region (June 2007)
Right Angle Events undertook the development and implementation of a scoping exercise to assist the Auckland City Council in their early budgetary and operational planning for the RWC2011.
The scoping exercise involved developing and leading a process with all relevant council stakeholders to determine budgetary and operational requirements, impacts and opportunities of the wide range of programs proposed for 2011.
3. Production of the region wide ‘concept of operations’ for all RWC2011 activity (September 2009)
Right Angle Events completed the Auckland Regional RWC Concept of Operations plan. This document collates all current operational planning across the region, and is designed as a central information resource for the operational scoping and planning of regional services and programs to be delivered for RWC 2011.
The document outlines the key operational information for the event as currently known, and defines a consistent approach to issues such as terminology, lines of communication, precinct based planning and areas of responsibility. ,
